Lily

One of the sweetest pups you'll ever meet. Lily is a ray of sunshine with the way she cares for everyone in the room. I've been so lucky to spend time with her, and even after two years she still recognized me... :,)

It's incredible how we're able to bond with animals even though we don't speak the same language. This most recent time I stopped by to visit, Lily somehow knew I had hit one of my lowest points in a while. I don't know if it was my body language or what, but she knew I needed a friend that night. We'd been inside playing some games, but I was losing of course.. so i excused myself outside to join Lily. I was going through a pretty tough time and I wasn't really talking to Lily like i usually do. She seemed to know something was wrong. She shifted into almost a guard position, just resting there with me, not asking for much. After a few minutes she adjusted herself and came around to resting her head on my scars.. I was layered up so I don't know how she knew they were there but i hadn't felt seen like that in so long. It really helped getting to spend some time with her that week..

Zara

I still remember the afternoon Alix was telling me about Zara. Summer had just begun, and recently they had been taling so much about wanting a dog. Lo and behold, this pup comes out to their house one day, in late june! A stray neighborhood dawg, now with a new home and loving family. it's actually kinda crazy. (W manifesting!) It's been so cool watching Zaza grow up from the small pup they found her as.

Twice now, i've gotten the cool opportunity to dawg-sit for her family! I don't have a dog of my own so it's pretty cool when I get the chance to hangout with zaza!! Even if I'm mostly there to fill up her water/food, we still gossip about stuff haha. Zara is always such a kind dawg when I visit her. Her excitement is so electric, she's so cute when she's eager for some belly rubs and ear-scratches.
